About Eastern Saints Water Polo Club
Eastern Saints Water Polo Club is the youngest of the current 4 clubs in Adelaide having been formed in 2008 to provide a 4th club to improve and assist in the growth of the sport in South Australia.
Since its inception we have grown into a club with an inclusive membership ranging in ages from 10 to 60. Along with continuing strong link to St Peters Boys College and St Peters Old Collegians (SPOC) we have at times shared a working relationship with Henley and Viking A Grade teams. We see these relationships as critical to the development and improvement of water polo within the club as they have have assisted in giving our players all the necessary tools to improve and further their water polo skills to their full potential.
Eastern Saints currently has eight teams participating in competition- B Grade Men, B Grade Women, 18&U Boys, 18&U Girls, 16&U Boys, 16&U Girls, 14&U mixed and 12&U mixed – The club is also heavily involved in the Primary School Competitions and runs Water Polo Clinics throughout the year.
2020/21 sees our club continue to grow by introducing our first A Grade Men’s Team. Eastern Saints is committed to continue developing its links with the local community and providing further support to Water Polo SA. It is hoped that during this year training and development of coaches, referees and table officials will add to the depth of skill and experience within the club, Eastern Saints Committee and Club Officials.
As part of the club’s drive to grow and develop, a committee was set up and has been the back bone of the club over the last few years. The committee is made up of members of the club and could not function without the support of the Eastern Saints and St Peters community. It is with great appreciation that we thank those past and present that have taken on the challenges of running and supporting our club.
